Job Description
The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with experience in the layout, design and structure of webapps. You must also possess strong knowledge of web application development using MVC.
Objective
- Understand business requirements and collaborate with the product management team to turn user stories into technical plans.
- Design, build & manage micro-services and back-end APIs for high-traffic applications.
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas, best practices, and problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems
- Drive improvements by analyzing website performance
Skills Required
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript Development on both client and server-side.
- Proficiency in Node.js and its frameworks such as Express, StrongLoop, Mongoose etc.
- Skilled in microservices and back-end APIs for high traffic, modular web applications
- Strong database knowledge on NoSQL and SQL.
- Knowledge of working with MongoDB and Compass.
- Creating secure RESTful-based web services in XML and JSON, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Continuous integration with version control (SVN, Git).
- Working Knowledge of PHP framework is a plus.
